Goodbye England, Hello New York

Okay so the last few hours have been very stressful! I've had to get my last minute washing done, exchange my money for US dollars, go to work AND pack! I'm almost there, and now is time to relax!

I've been keeping an eye on the weather and the last update is below, which is quite hopeful, lets hope it holds out eh?

The excitement is certainly kicking in, to think that in 12 hours I will be boarding my American Airlines plane, and jetting off to New York (finally). As soon as I get there, I will be ready to explore what NY has to offer and shop till I drop, after all it is the city that never sleeps!

Okay so it is now just TWO days until I will be touching down in New York, where has the time gone? Christmas, New Years and now New York, not that I'm complaining or anything!

This week I've caught wind of the fact that Gossip Girl is filming in NEW YORK! If you knew me, then you would know that I live, sleep, eat and breathe Gossip Girl (literally). This has been the best news I've heard all year (excuse the pun). It was only last year that I went to see Taylor Momsen (who plays Jenny) in her rock band the pretty reckless, and it was AMAZING! :). Any who, if you didn't know Gossip Girl is set in the Upper East side of Manhattan, and follows the lives of six young adults. I suppose I had now better get on with packing my little suitcase, in preparation for jetting off on Wednesday! I must say this should only take two seconds, as I plan on bringing back a whole lot more than what I take with me!
